Our grade wanted Good Luck by Basement Jaxx, but our school wouldn't let us...
We settled for What About Me? Shannon Noll...

Ugh.

I don't like Shannon Noll, or the song... but it kinda of became our most played song in the common room. I guess, as a year, we always feel jipped of stuff...which is why we're a bunch of whingers.

shannon noll has another song... "learn to fly" or something - the words are really nice, especially when you apply them to leaving school... :)

graduation and missin u r both songs that were played at the memorials for our friend from our grade who died last yr...so don't know if we'll have those. if we do i'll be guaranteed to bawl.

my friend and i wanted to come into the hall to "all day long i dream about sex" but no... our school song is to the tune of ode to joy (wonder how many of those there are) so we r playing the techno version of that when we come in. a lot of past yr 12s have played with o without u, the hamish cowan version from alibrandi. don't know exactly what else.

my as yet unmentioned faves would have to be

american pie
next yr (foo fighters)
whatever makes u happy (powderfinger)
going away to college (blink 182)
ain't no mountain high enough (anyone who's seen remember the titans will understand)
go west (that's a thing w our grade...OUTBAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!)
wonderwall (same)

and...

TUBTHUMPING! (i get knocked down, but i get up again...)
