Are they blocking the msn program or the ports it uses. If its just the program then try Trillian. www.trillian.cc to download free version.

And by the way what are you doing at the uni now?

Im not there.........one of my friends is htere started last year. I think its a T3 connection (uber fast) but dload limit of 300mb for the year =S

300mb for the year. wtf thats nothing. Even ISPs give you 300mb/month minimum. How do they even monitor how much is downloaded by each computer. All you do is plug in a network cable. If that is true I have to really think hard about going to UNE.

if une doesnt have msn - why am i chatting right now...our computer guy fiddled round n put msn on my puter *Shrugs*

hey moose can u go into msn options, go to connections then to advanced settings and tell me what is in there - i'm pretty sure u have to fiddle around with that stuff to use it on the network, i just don't know how exactly!
