apparently, today tiananmen square is on lock down too.
twitter, flickr, hotmail, gone. all blocked!
repression is so horrible :(
china loves to re-write history..

on sunrise this morning they were showing one of the US reporters who was in the square and on a boiling hot day he had undercover police trying to block the camera with their umbrellas

In modern i heard that one of the guys that protested during an earlier Tiananmen square massacre anniversary just got "purged"... poor guy.

oh really? today all i saw on sunrise about it was some reporter woman who was there 20 years ago

It's so pathetic. Even many Chinese people living oversees don't believe it happened. They're that brainwashed with nationalism.

I heard that if you look up "Tiananmen square massacre" on a chinese web browser, all you get is tourism sites and such.
