To synthesise or not to synthesise? (1 Viewer)

Hi all

I was wondering if people knew whether you would lose marks for having some synthesised paragraphs and some un-synthesised paragraphs. (So for example a paragraph for each text and then one with both texts).

Just wondering because I feel it some of my essays they work a lot better with un-synthesised paragraphs but I don't have time in the exam to write all my paragraphs like that because it takes longer.
