hey guys
im just going over the principles of training, and am a bit confused about the percentages of heart rates for the aerobic and anaerobic training thresholds.
as far as i can tell, the aerobic is 70-85% MRH, and anaerobic is 85-90% MHR. is this correct, or do i need to alter it?

Thats whats so annoying about pd. I've always gone with aerobic being 60-65% MHR and anaerobic being 80-85% MHR.

It's a pain in the ass and BOS should identify which they prefer so students don't get confused. I usually say:

Aerobic training threshold = 70% MHR
Aerobic training zone = 70 - 80% MHR

Anaerobic training threshold = 80% MHR
Anaerobic training zone = 80%+MHR

Although, as Without Wings said, the markers understand that different textbooks say different things so just ensure you're in the right area.
