So back in Year 12, I screwed up my marks and got an ATAR which was just sufficient for me to get into UWS. I did a course I didn't entirely enjoy and got a GPA of 4.125 (didn't fail anything) and the following STAT results:

STAT Multiple Choice:

Verbal STAT Score - 142 (30.4 percentile rank)
Quantitative STAT Score - 148 (46.9 percentile rank)
Overall STAT Score - 145 (36.0 percentile rank)

I applied to Macquarie and UNSW (cut-offs for the courses I want to do range from the high 70s to mid 80s).

The thing is MQ accepts the STAT for consideration whereas UNSW does not but from the above, what are my chances of transferring?

And what would a GPA of 4.125 equate to in the ATAR?

Hi, mate, we r on same boat, i ruined my atar n went UWS and applied for transfer with GPA 4.375 (but i have a fail)

however, I asked lots of questions to UAC and what I found out is, they calculate your selection mark with GPA, but its not disclose to applicants,

QTAC (which is queensland UAC) gives ATAR of 90 for GPA 4.0-4.125
so I reckon UAC will give you at least say 83+

but don't really sure about it, because QTAC and UAC is different sites,
