Transferring from UWS to USYD Engineering (1 Viewer)

Hey guys, so pretty much I asked USYD if it was possible for me to transfer courses from UWS to USYD Civil Engineering.
They replied saying: "To transfer into the Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) you will need to achieve a GPA in the pass range."
Does this also include a WAM in the 'pass range' so 50-64? My WAM is currently 58 but my GPA is only 3.75/7 (4/7 at UWS being a pass) because I failed 2 out of the 8 units attempted.

I'll ring them tomorrow but why would they say that? Why did they not say credit average?
