i read in another thread that u can get up to 2 offers when they come out later this month..

so basically does that mean u can get 2 offers, one fee paying and one HECS....

can this happen at the same time (i.e. both fee paying and HECS offered in the main round)?
if so:
-do these have to be for the same course and/or at the same university

say ur preference list is

1) law USYD (hecs)
2) law NSW (hecs)
3) Law USYD (fee)
4) law NSW (fee)

and ur uai is enough to get into law NSW (hecs) - third preference.....
will u also be offered the highest fee course (law SYD) - third preference?

so its possible to be offered, in the main round (if u reach the cutoff), two courses one of both type?

Yes it's possible.

Even though it's one, think of the preferences as two separate lists, one for HECS courses and one for FEE courses. They do not have to be the same courses nor from the same institutions. Pending UAI/entry, you can receive one offer for a HECS course; and one offer for a FEE course.

yes, you could get Law UNSW (HECS) and Law Usyd (Fee) Generally they wont offer you a fee paying and hecs to the same course at the same uni. So you wouldnt get Usyd (hecs) and usyd (fee). You can get an offer to your highest HECS and highest Fee paying preference, unless they are the same thing of course, that would be silly....
