Hey guys, if I practise umat for 2 hours per day do I have a chance at getting approximately 95 percentile?
I have been practising consistently but only 2 or 3 times a week due to exams, and my percentiles are low around 60 in Medentry. How to not get overwhelmed by the no. of questions and the fact that EVERY question is so hard?? When I do UMAT practice I think of all the other intelligent kids doing it adn then think of myself, getting poor percentiles and struggling to answer questions without spending a long time on each. Is there a way to solve this problem? Thanks. And please no mean comments. :)

Simple answer is no there is no guarantee. It's like me saying will I get a job 10 years later if I eat chocolate pretzels now. I don't like questions like this because it shows overall a lack of maturity (which is not a bad thing given your age but it may affect you if you get an interview). You can never predict the future so don't try to. Concentrate what you can do now and do your best. Stop thinking about intelligent people doing well in the UMAT. Doctors should be above average intelligence but being intelligent doesn't mean you will be a great doctor. There are many other careers which require more intelligence than medicine. Medicine is about memorising and regurgitating and then empathising and understanding patients.

Analyse the reasons why you are getting questions wrong. It's the same for the process of self-improvement. People who reflect, analyse and adapt themselves tend to be more successful than their rigid counterparts. This is the same for UMAT, figure out why you're getting things wrong instead of just ignoring it and moving on. Redo each question you get wrong.
