So for uniform electric field, can the arrows be starting from the negative then go to positive? Or the directions of the arrows dont really matter?

The direction of the arrows always travel from the positive plate to the negative plate

oh alright thanks parvee :D, are there any concepts to explain why it does that?
oh w8,
is it cos of the positive test charge?
when u put a postive test charge in a positive field, it moves away from pos
when u put a positive test charge in a negative field it moves closer to neg

hence positive charge always travel away from positive to negative?

Uhm the electric field lines represent the direction in which a positive test charge would experience a force.
