usyd: easier to get to for non eastern suburbs ppl, more flexibile degree program, can do 3 majors with faculty pemission, lots of computers in brand new building, we get to play mikes bikes, uses blackboard online learning system instead of that webct crap...

unsw: 96% grad employment rate (usyd 93%), $41000~ average grad starting salary (usyd $37000~)

macq: kickass accounting lecturers

uts: doesn't offer B Com

uws: no familiar with their programs

USYD: Yeh easier to get to USYD than UNSW for non-easties. More spread out and spacious campus when compared to UNSW. Nice Eco+Bus Building that has new computers with lcd monitors (or are they flat TFT's??, either way they're nice computers).
Cons: Crappy and expensive food, gotta pay higher fees than UNSW (I think i paid like $500+ this year in student fees etc).

UNSW: Probably has the better reputation, have their own dedicated bus service (USYD ppl have to catch public buses). I'm heard from friends that UNSW has cheap focaccia's (like $3?) and half-decent food. I'd have to say UNSW has the more flexible degree, you have alot more majors to choose from than at USYD.
Cons: The campus is built on a slope, so lots of walking up stairs- your legs will give way after a few trips up and down the campus.

pfft, only major unsw offers which usyd doesn't is actuarial studies (yes, usyd offers international business major) and that's something you go to macq for if you want to specialise in it (except for coop ppl)

UNSW. A better university in my opinion after being a student at both. I think UNSW has better facilities, a nicer atmosphere (USYD has the whole snob factor attached to it). Im not sure about the actual course in question, but in terms of the university in general, UNSW all the way.

These are all opinions, nothing definitive (and I gather this is what you want coroneos)

USyd: Prestige (highest in Australia), sandstone, lower cutoff than UNSW, more local students (in commerce), new initiatives in accounting for example (refer to suvat)

UNSW: marginally better prospects (starting salary and employability), historically big4 firms hire more UNSW grads than any other uni, prestige of the degree itself, links with the asia-pacific region
