I just watched this video:

Do we need to buy tickets for the events held at night: the movie, gig, comedy or Thursday's party?

I'm confused because from the UNSW 2014 "Getting Started" booklet I got from the mail a few weeks ago, I can't find anywhere that we need to get tickets. Also, for Thursday's party night, it clearly reads, "FREE For Arc Members Before 7:30PM."

If we do need tickets, where do we get it from? cost?

Arc membership is free because it's covered in our SSAF, if I'm correct? And we can activate our Arc membership in one of the stalls during O-Week? Do we fill out stuff and bring our student card to do so?

Thanks!

Yeah, arc membership is "free".
I activated mine yesterday. If you've already filled out the stuff online, all you need to do is show them your id and you're legit done in seconds. If you don't wanna fill anything out online, you can do it there as well. But you may as well do it online to save time :)
And you need your student card coz they put the arc sticker on it :D

The only ticketed events are the Wednesday Band night (free) and Thursday Dance Party ($10 for Arc members). You don't need to get any tickets to attend the Monday night movie or Tuesday Comedy night.

Band tickets can be received here: http://www.eventopia.co/event/Thundamentals-UNSW-O-Week/230713

And Blackout party tickets can be bought here: http://www.eventopia.co/event/Blackout-UNSW-O-Week-Party/230708 or at the Main Gate Help Desk during O-Week where Yellow Shirts will be able to sell them to you.

You can sign up to be a member at any of the Arc Membership stalls.
