Hi

I need help please.

I need some good websites that explain how DC motors with three coils and hence three commutator bars are set up i.e where the coils have to connect.


Does it matter how I connect the coils to the commutator?

The commutator may only have one connection but the wire windings wrap around 3 times (hence three coils), at least when I've made a prac.

p.s I hope you're accelerating otherwise you hardly need 'Urgent' help considering our exam is today <_<.

If I screw this up , my HSC is screwed, so its very importatnt.


Now those three coils , do I just place on coil from each nail under one bar.


To any bar right it doesnt matter?
