Urgent help needed for motor (1 Viewer)

for my motor and have everything sorted, but i just cant find anything to use as brushes

could someone please give me some ideas

Try brass strips, or perhaps copper.

folded alum foil, maybe? folded so it is stronger.

It probably depends on the design of your motor but when my brother built one, i told him to use this little strip of metal found in a cassette tape (if you still have any that is). I don't know what kind of metal it is but if you smash a tape open, you'll find a small rectangular piece of metal that might work as a brush.

If you look to the bottom-centre of this picture: http://www.davidairey.com/images/design/cassette-tape-1.jpg you can see a straight line - that's the metal piece.
It's a bit odd...but i use to take things apart. LOL
