UTS B Science and B Business (1 Viewer)

Hi everyone,

I’m doing B sci and B bus, first year.

I’m currently confused with my major in science.

I’m doing med sci but not sure how well it would work with a science degree.
So I was thinking to change to biotechnology. But I again don’t know if that would work better with business. But to me that would work better with business and med sci with business.

Please tell me which of the two science majors would suit well with business, as in its career prospects and job demands.

Also do recruiters nowadays want stem graduates or not?
Because there have been many people who said they do, but in reality they don’t.

Please tell me which of the two science majors would suit well with business, as in its career prospects and job demands.

The only circumstance where i could see your choice in science major having a measurable impact on recruitment is for jobs that speficially require skills taught in that said major.

In most cases the recruiter will be paying attention to your business major and relevant experience. Biotechnology sounds more applicable to business but i think you should do what you're interested in.

Yes but related experience, accreditation, presentation and articulation all are significantly more important.
