UTS Early entry (1 Viewer)

I’m a little confused about how the system is working in comparison to Newcastle. I was unsure whether I had accepted my offer and ended up on the student admin website where I can view my offer. From here, I can see two options at the bottom on the second half of the first step: accept (to continue and enrol), or defer. I’m confused about the accept as am I forced to enrol immediately or can I still choose to accept a uac offer to unsw at a later date if I prefer? UTS states “If you decide not to enrol after accepting your offer you may incur a financial penalty.” Which I would rather avoid, so I’m just looking for some clarification. Offer date only lapses on 3/3/25

you don’t have to accept until you’re ready, the offer date is until march anyways so if you’re not unsure then no need to accept and u can just wait to enrol, it shouldn’t disappear

defer on the other hand is basically reject, if u end up getting a unsw offer then you can do that (or just leave it and it will lapse)
