I don't think you'd be allowed to do it anyway, I think there is a 6 month waiting period before you can re-sit a STAT test.Trebla said:I got the letter as well....
I don't really want to do it though. Two STATs for $135 and I already sat the MC STAT in May.....
Why yes it does actually.nahian said:RET test does not cover law or medicine courses in UWS
What courses can I apply for with RET?
You can apply for a place in any UWS undergraduate award course offered through UAC except those listed below, as additional selection criteria apply.
For information on courses and cut-offs, please refer to Table 1 and Part 2 of the UAC 2007 Guide (available July 2006).
The following courses are NOT available through RET as additional selection criteria apply:
UAC Code Course
704200 B Health Science (Nursing)
705600 B Laws (Graduate Entry)
705625 B Laws (Graduate Entry)
705650 B Laws (Non-Graduate Entry)
707325 B Early Childhood Studies (Child and Family)
707885 B Performance
708175 B Electronic Arts
708200 B Fine Arts
708225 B Music
The RET which uses the STAT is for UWS only, and while there are often other flexible entry schemes at other unis there is no RET equivalent. The STAT itself can however be used for mature aged entry to most universities as well as being a criterion of entry into USyd's BPharm & BVetSci.Chubby said:is there a stat test for every uni?
