hey guys whats the formulas for projectiles again. I did my hsc last year and i forgot them and now i need them..

I need the formula to find the max height a particle going in projectile motion thanks

are you sure thats the answer, because i remember it having a sin@ in it..

the place is when the particle reaches its MAX point on the graph i.e stationary point.

I'm trying to find the height of that i.e i need the time + the distance from base to max height ?

BAHA sorry, i thought i was in the physics forum XD

It should be Max Height = V²sin²x/2g

is that sin2x or just sin^2x ???

i think sin2x cuz 2(45) = 90 therefore max height reached xD

it's squared. the angle for maximum height would be straight up, ie. 90'

it just comes from v2 - u2 = 2as (setting v=0)

can u also give me all the other formulas eg the time it takes to hit the ground also.. thanks
