Is there any point in this? I has quite in interest in pharmacy or something involving X-rays. I don't want to go into Med.

Can someone give me the idea of what careers I can do with a Medical Science degree involving X-rays and such? Could you also explain what is done in Radiotherapy?

I see a career choice on the UTS website involving Pharmaceuticals and Pathologies. I have an interest in this but need to know what its about.

Thanks so much, I really want to decide on a career choice but then again, want to keep my options open. >_>

What does it take to get a reply here. Come on please.

I was aiming for Pharmacy, but I realised I'm crap at english so my hopes has now dropped to Medical Science.

i guess you could improve on your english.. what do you mean by crap anyhow? is english not your first language?

having a medical science degree is great because obviously it does lead to alot of career options leading from business to law and of course to medicine and pharmacy. and by the way, you do have to know about english to learn medical science.. probably the same amount for pharmacy.

was just checking through the uts subject list and came across this http://www.handbook.uts.edu.au/subjects/91403.html this i guess would be an elective you could choose when you do the medical science degree.

right now i'm doing the biomedical degree from uts, which is pretty similar to medical science.. but anyways, i have no plans to complete a medical degree and having this degree will leave me with many many options. so completing medical science degree doesn not just mean you gotta follow it up with a medical degree.. just that many people find it an excellent stepping stone and i guess an advantage.

anyways, i hope you decide what you want to do :D

take care

Go to USYD and do the bachelor of medical radiation degrees there.

im doin b.med sci and i dont like it, its way too broad, not really a specialist degree employers are looking for.
