If you can boost ur marks in english ( alot) and maybe a bit in maths, you should get a pretty rewarding uai. Prob high 70s. Plus ur ranks are good in most subjects so that will help u a lot.
Also, only 4 people do avanced english???

ok, i dont know where else to post/ ask this and it seemed relevent-ish to this:
I also chucked my yr 11 yearly results into SAM (most probably incorrectly) and got a 73 or thereabouts. i havent sort of taken the HSC seriously until now, and did a pretty dodge job of yr 11, now realising that ive probably already wasted a term of it(my HSC time) . Anyhoo, my yr 11 yearly results were:
Ancient History: 89% 1/10
Legal Studies 88% 1/11
Mathematics: 50% 8/19 ( i hate maths with a passion and did ext 1, but results are too awful to post)
Advanced English: 82% 1/19
Biology: 69% 2/9
Ext 1 Eng: 39/50 1/2
im also doing ext 2 english and am dropping ext 1 maths

Can anybody help me out here? im trying to set some realistic goals for myself, but am clueless to scaling ect.ect. if i pulled my marks up to above 90% in everything but maths-cus it will never happen- do i have any hope of a UAI in the 90's?

Year 11 marks do not count towards your UAI, so you have a clean slate to work off from the start of year 12. From what I see there, if you maintain your ranks in your subjects (try to get 1st rank in all your subjects), and then perform well in your HSC exams, then you should be looking at a UAI of 90+. Scaling should not be an issue here if you manage to get band 6s or high band 5 marks in your subjects for your HSC.

Basically, try your best in all your subjects, attain the highest rank that you are able to achieve in them and do well in the HSC exams :) If you manage to bring your marks up to 90+ as a HSC mark, you should easily get a UAI above 90 :uhhuh:

Hey- I can't get to SAM at the moment because each time i click the internet shuts down, so I was wondering- although these are only my year 11 yearly results, can anyone tell me approximately what I might be getting in terms of UAI??
I would like to get into Arts (psychology) at Sydney Uni which need a 98.10

My School report marks aren't scaled (except for Maths i think) so anyway:
English Advanced: 79/100 rank: 30/119
English Ext 1: 36/50 rank: 57/78
Maths: 87/100 rank: 29/94
Maths Ext 1: 38/50 rank: 52/63
Chemistry: 80/100 rank: 24/53
French Continuers: 81/100 rank 10/17
Society and Culture 91/100 rank: 9/35

do you think that would be above 95 at the least?? I really would like to get above 98- or at the lowest a 97 so i can at least do psychology at sydney with 96.95....
Of course I know year 12 (which ill start term 2 soon) is a clean slate, but just as a guide of whether i need to put HEAPS of effort or if its an unrealistic goal.
thanks

i would say u very little chance of getting above 98, very doubtful ud even get 95, ur looking at very low 90s to high 80's i guess. being kind. but i may be wrong.

Get yourself an English tutor, and try and pull your maths mark up. Does Hospitality count towards your UAI? I have an inkling it might not.
