If you go to the board of studies website and look at the sylabus stuff for art, they will have the marking criteria for your B.O.W.
The markers have to follow that when marking, its not really based on their own opinion, its like an english essay, if you dont have at least 4 quotes then you cant get a certain mark (just an example)
but, yeh, go to the board of studies for the marking criteria or you could ask your teacher if they have a copy, they probly would of mark your trial or progress for your b.o.w based on the marking criteria that the hsc examiners use.

well it all depends on how closely your teacher followed the hsc marking guidelines. and the teacher knows you, so they would know how hard you worked etc. so that may influence the mark. the examiners dont kn ow you and dont worry about hurting someones feelings or anything.

id ask your teacher how closely they followed the guidlines and again, take a look at the marking criteria yourself and see how you would mark your work, being brutely honest.

Your internal mark assesses what you did in class. For example you did no work all year and then did a great piece in one class you will have a poor internal mark. Wen the work gets HSC marked they mark only on what they see.

You can see the 2 marks may be miles apart.
