I am ranked 1st internally in both chemistry and physics with an assessment raw mark of 90 in chemistry and 98 in physics.
What raw marks, out of 100, will I need to get in the externals to get a state rank in both?
How can i increase my chances of getting it?
I know the content perfectly and now working on exam techniques through doing HSC papers and analysing every question in terms of marking criteria and markers notes.
What else can I do?

well raw marks of a 100 will guarantee it,
just practice papers if you know the content honestly.

The mark will vary slightly from year to year depending on the difficulty of the exam. However, in terms of the 2012 HSC a raw mark of 89 in Chemistry and 90 in Physics would both scale to 96. In general, a state rank for these subjects would be somewhere between 96-98 so getting a raw mark between 89-93 would probably get you a state rank. Remember though that getting a raw mark of 85+ in either of these subjects is quite difficult.
