What do I need to score in the hsc exam for what band? (1 Viewer)

So internal marks aside, what would you need in the hsc exam out of 105 (or 45 and 60) to get a band 5/6 for english advanced.

Its hard to say exactly, because paper one is worth 40% of the external mark and paper 2 is worth 60% (not 100% sure about this, maybe someone could confirm). But generally speaking it is around high 70's low 80's out of 100 to get a band 6 (its important to remember that raw mark conversions can change significantly from year to year)

Get around 85/105 or so and that should be enough for a Band 6.
