Was just wondering how everyone is going with their holiday work?
There are lots of threads talking about how much we should be doing... but... is it getting done? XD

This will either: a) Motivate us because everyone has done more than us, or;
b) Make us feel good about ourselves because we have done more than others...

So there are benefits both ways, right?

I have not done much at all...
I've read a quite a lot of short stories for English Ex2 research,
I've nearly finished notes on the first Bio module (only a few dot points to gooo)
... Yyyeah, that's about it. :/

Yeah I've made a timetable too...

To make studying interesting...
Plan things for the afternoon on everyday, and only allow yourself to do them if you do 3 hours of study in the morning or something.

In an ideal world, this would work.

Nyeh, my parents don't seem to comprehend that this break is 6weeks long and are making me do most of my work now =\ So I'm up to date in maths [I'll get my cousin to go over the next topics with me soon], halfway through belonging short story, up to date with chem notes and learning ahead, halfway through my ancient textbook, read most of my drama stuff and up to date with german, which is about as much as I can hope for there.

They also got this crazy idea that I should finish my drama IP [a 15-25page script] by january10, but there's no way in hell I'll be done by then ><

Good luck to everyone else with their studying/whatever though xP

Its very important you have some sort of balance during your holidays :).

I relaxed like craaaazy until jan 01. Then From then on started studying, feeling bad that i'd done minimal study before that.

It was enough fun to get me thru the rest of the holidays.

Damnit, sometimes I wish my mum pushed me like that >.>

That's good, at least you'l get it all out of the way and be able to legitimately enjoy the end of your holidays.

Unlike I, who procrastinates in the first half and all my enjoyable activities are tainted with guilt anyway, and in the second half I'm stressed due to all the work I have to do... Yyyyayy I love hsc.

Yeah I know a lot of my friends are starting on Jan 1st.
It does seem like a good time to start a new page/leaf/other generic metaphor etc.

I finished my eco notes for topic 1, finished ancient notes, finished religion notes, and finished english module A notes.

Now I'm doing Belonging notes, and then I'll move onto doing my religion assessment, then my ancient assessment, then my english assessment, and then revise for 4u assessment, and then do my tutoring homework, and then do my maths homework from school, and then I'll work on 3u maths and 4u maths. If time persists, I'll learn ahead for some subjects but I doubt I'll get there.

the fact that I have assessments right after the holidays means that I'll have to spend my whole holidays preparing and studying :(

finished summaring 2/5 topics for business
just finished summarising crime for legal studies
gone through 2/4 topics we're doing for math next term

i'm going to be ambitious and try to summarise both business & legal
syllabuses by the end of the holidays.

been studying during the morning/day. going to the gym in the arvo
and partying at night yeeeeee.

you just need to know how to balance your study time with your
social life and you'll be fine:)

lol I feel so guilty now. I started off by finishing some eco classwork that we didn't get time to finish in class, touched up my Modern notes (a bit, but still have to type up 4: Turning Points :/) and then did about half of my AOS notes. Then it completely died from there and for the past 5ish days I've just been gorging myself on Top Gear and Modern Warfare 2 :|

Should probably start my eco notes soon.

I've read some of my english texts and done some writing for extension two and started my art major.

Apart from that, I've been watching Buffy: The Vampire Slayer :D

I'm completely guilt tripping myself...

Chookas to everyone else who has done some.
