e.g. i think UTS is best for engineering and computer related courses and macquarie is good for actuarial studies.

What about other unis? UNSW, USYD, UWS etc.

USYD for law? arts?

UNSW for commerce and engineering too

i dunno 'good' is such a loose and subjective term though, it all depends on personal stuff which is like way too broad and crazy to get into...

Isn't UTS mainly full of guys (esp. Asian)?
Aren't there more guys than girls doing Eng, Comp, architecture and other technology sorta courses?
And aren't all the chicks over at UNSW cos of law, commerce and eco?

nah, UNSW is full of asian-everythings, cos they accept heaps of internationals.

UTS also accepts itnernationals too, but from a bigger variety of backgrounds- like a lot from europe and stuff.

and nah, my year's architecture actually has more chicks than guys. it used to be a 'blokey' career but it's becoming more chicky now.

same with IT too i think. eng, yeah, has tons of dudes.

UNSW is way better than UTS for Computing, 'cause most of the funding goes to Enginnering, and then most of that funding goes to Computing.

NB: I do a computing course at UNSW

usyd is so nice warm and fuzzy - it has encaptured me even before i go into uni. i love it asqy. unsw, from what i've heard, is new, but also very "cold" (from my latin teacher - an old usyd person). usyd is more to my liking.

and yes, modest, understated beauty makes a girl worth all the more to me.

and usyds got the best eng i rkn. aeronautical / mechatronic / mechanical + space engineering combos. *drool* where else do u see eng courses at >98 cutoff but usyd? that says somefin...

and sciences as well, usyd cutoffs for adv sci math is 98+ again. conclusion: usyd owns all.
