I am just working on improving my folio by using the guide kindly given by Beaky.

I'm just wondering can someone please tell me what is the difference between:

The Design Brief and
The Need and
The proposal.

The Design Brief- A short summary and aim that you wish to fufill at the end of the project
The Need- What the percieved need is. For example the need to may be to build an environmentally friendly table. You must state how the need has come about.
The proposal- Is how you are going to fullfill the need/brief. This will vary from project to project.
