With the amount of scaling/aligning that goes on, I'd think about 60 ish as the mark required to get in the top band.

Well I hope it's lower, I am fairly positive I got above 50/84 as a raw mark (maybe fairly high above), so I think I should be able to get in the highest band.

it only goes up to band 4 for ext1.

i actually think i may have done better in this test than in my trial!! hooray!!

I'd say the raw mark for e4 would be about 70/84 to be honest. it was hard but not too hard, marks of mid 70's were very easily attainable.

I got 54/84 for my raw marks for the trial but it only scaled to 83%

I reckon E4 will be approx 57-60/84

Get down from your ivory tower, and check the raw marks on this site. A couple of years ago high fifties was enough

yeh a mark of about 54/84 would have gotten you E4 last year and that was quite an easy paper in my opinion. it seems the general consensus here on the board is that this years paper is harder.. so E4 might be about 52/84

what would a mark of 72/84 give me you guys reckon?
