Hi ive finished my first term of year 12 and have gotten some of my marks back and theyve been decent but not the best. I really want to rank top 3 for most of my subjects and was wondering what i should do in these holidays to really get ahead?

Also, in preparation for trials and stuff I was wondering if i should spend more time consolidating the first term content or starting on next terms content?

Any general tips for this period of my hsc course would be greatly appreciated thabk you!!

This depends on a large number of factors, such as how confident you are with current topics, and the subject itself. For a subject like math it's best to do a bit of both ie try and learn next terms content but don't go too far while also making sure you understand content from last term. However for a subject like business studies or legal studies it's best to revise the content you learn last term.

However if you are confident with the topics from last term then by all means work ahead.

In general though don't try and finish the whole course in these holidays you are just going to get burnt out as you approach trials and HSC.
