You've definitely gone above and beyond the requirements of a HSC English student. Those are concepts that I never really understood in my essays, and I merely paid lip-service to them, and still almost wound up with a state rank.

Only thing I would add is the commercialisation in the 80s, as reflected in BR: 'commerce is our goal'. The 80s were when people began realising that human and corporate greed may come back to bite us in the ass (especially events such as the '73 OPEC embargo) etc etc.

mention Thatcherism and the politics of Reagan and what they did to the welfare systems in the US and UK, and how this is reflected in the representation of human welfare in the world of BLADE RUNNER (this elaborates on corporatism, unless you already mentioned these two economical policies as deciding influences)

This awareness of commercialisation can be paralleled to the context within which Frankenstein was composed as the theory of galvanism was just developed.
