Plot twist: this is not me lol
My friend is tied first with another person for 4u. We're wondering if it is less advantageous to his final HSC mark when compared to not being tied first with someone. If the answer in yes, will it actually create a big difference?

If a school submits assessment marks with two (or more) students ranked first (tied on the top assessment mark), then the top moderated assessment mark will equal the average (mean) of the two (or more) highest exam marks for the school group. This also applies if students tie on the bottom assessment mark.
