my cleanser has exfoliator in it, then tone, then moistorise... plus clear and clear pimple cream on any trouble spots...

My skin has got a whole lot clearer since I've started the full routine, too much water on my face without moisturiser makes my face feel tight

Moisturising also helps prevent wrinkles and damage from the sun - which is why i apply twice a day.
False. Moisturiser does not prevent sun damage. It may improve the appearance of wrinkes.

Unless you work in some kind of mine or other dirty place, cleansing twice a day is overkill. Even once a day is not necessary.

^ Thank my dermatologist who told me this. Did you get oily skin before or after you started putting junk on it all the time? I've heard that water is pretty effective for removing oil.

i've always had oily skin dude. genetics.
and junk lol? my usual day make up is some bronzer and mascara and occasionally concealer.

it's my routine, i've been doing it for years and nothing has happened to my skin. so i guess that there is no problem for me, si?

So why do you keep doing it if it's not helping? I don't see why you'd moisturise twice daily when your skin is oily.

When I say junk I mean all the random chemicals that are in cosmetics and skincare products.

i said moisturise mostly so if i know my skin doesn't need it, i don't do it.

my skin is not constantly oily. cleansing and moisturising as i do maintains it. if i slack off, my skin becomes oily as per usual.

yes. still don't get junk.
