I've been working for a little over half a year and I've decided to call it quits. I haven't worked in a while because i'm baby sitting my little cousin and what not. I'm moving in 2 weeks which would increase my travel time by at least an hour (i have to take an infrequent bus to the nearest train) and being in my hsc year, I'm not really open to that. Plus there's a coles down the street from my new house.

But again, I haven't worked all holidays because i'm making sure my little cousin wouldn't do stupid things like trying to microwave metal. Today my manager called me for my new availabilities and I feel its a bit rude to quit right after giving my new times. I know I have to give 2 weeks notice before quitting, but when's a respectable time to? I work at maccas btw.

Just explain to your manager your situation about moving so far away, HSC and what not. Just write a letter of resignation. You can quit, I'm sure you'll find another job closer to home.
