really. some of my friends are way far behind about 4 to 5 wks and they still havent receive any N-award yet.

You will get one eventually if you slack off too much. Because it's Open High School they are a bit leniant with you, but if do fall behind too much- say, a semester- then expect a warning letter soon. Personal experience.

From experience, if you get about six weeks behind, they'll send you a first warning letter and make you submit a work plan. If you don't keep up to the plan, you get a second warning letter, and after that I think there's an N award. Never got past the first warning letter myself though.
