a forum called boxden for all the exclusive hip hop/rap/pop rnb/R&B and the occasional 'something from some other genre.'

and i really do mean exclusive

consider this a favour, do not tell 'habibs' about this forum.

For Indie Rock I use a few sources ...

1) Pitchforkmedia.com, theyve got some great lists of highly recommeneded indie stuff
2) Big Day Out Forum :)
3) Stroll through JB HiFi

another great review site is tinymixtapes.com, then theres the huge amount of music blogs that are floating around the net .. occassionally Triple J, and to answer your other question, yeah, I do spend alot of time looking into new artists .. just 1 listen of an artist youve stumbled across is never enough especially in this genre

I use last.fm mainly, and get recommendations of the forums there. Also, the radio occasionally, but not as much anymore.

And OiNK...

Pitchfork is the anti-christ

I just... stumble accross bands. Forums, friends, random conversations... As long as you have an open mind you'll find a whole bunch of good music out there

I get my music from forums, but that's mostly Asian music. For other music I download torrents or go on limewire, which I heard is not so good anymore. I don't put much effort into finding new artists, when I feel the need for new songs I just ask my friends for new music.

friends and radio, i don't look that often on the net, (mostly cause i don't know of any good sites, but i've seen some good ones on this thread) anyway i like going into music shops/stores and look around, and then i mean the small private ones, not part of a big supermarket chain, there you can usually find really good music.

Well, i found out about Delta from Neighbours...

but all my other music is stuff from the 70's and 80's. so 101.7 WSFM helps, but really, i just look though my parents record collection. and just songs that dad likes, i generally like.
