Which University is good for B Law/(something) (1 Viewer)

I would like to ask which Uni is good for B Law...

The Uni's i have in mind are:
-University of New South Wales
-University of Sydney
-Maquarie University
-University of Western Sydney

And what should i do with law, because i'am going to do a double degree.

Yer, i thought of going to University of New England, but the my parent can't afford my Uni fees + living fees, and others...
So i can't go~

It's spelt "I'm" or "I am", not "I'am".

Don't discount the University of New England. Sure, it might be a country uni, but it's also one of the top universities in the state; it's ranked second or third. The UAI might be lower than metro universities, but I've only been at uni a month and can't remember my UAI. Once you're in, your UAI might as well be borscht.

And if you're doing a double degree, you'll need to decide the second half based on what you like. After all, we're not you and can't decide for you.

Sometimes the most insane, irrational descisions are the best ones. Like the one where I don't cause you pain. It goes against all common sense, but in the end I'm better off for it, that sort of thing goes on criminal records. Similarly, UNE is better than NSW or Syd because A) Sydensiders are a bunch of arrogant wankers and B) you've actually got a higher chance of graduating with an HD average.

if it came down to the appeal of the student body then I would definitely chose a country uni over usyd. Forging symbiotic friendships in usyd law is wrought with the intolerable shmoozy alterior motives akin to dealing with used car salesmen.
Although it is amusing to observe the uncertain eye movements and poorly fabricated excuses some students can conjure when asked if their notes can be copied.
Uni should be everyone against the uni not every man for himself...if you get my gist

Look at your interests when deciding what other degree to undertake, once you decide it might limit your choices of where you study. For me my major was only offered at UWS which along with my UAI helped me make my decision. I chose my major and degree because it seemed to be the only one to match my interests.

This is a bit of an open question as there are many factors that influence individual decisions.

but for NSW & ACT:

first tier: USyd, UNSW
second tier: ANU, UTS, UOW
third tier: Maq, UWS, other unis

...from my uninformed perspective

in regard to the second issue: you should answer that yourself.

Yep I can see that based on the entrance uai, taking into account its distance from Sydney, ANU is regarded as a relatively prestigous law school.

uai cutoff is an indication of demand, which is surely linked with the level of the prestige of the degree. i think it's about as objective as an indicator for prestige can get.

No its because ANU is in Canberra while USyd and UNSW are in Sydney. The very location issue takes I'd say 4 uai points or so off.

Legal Studies, Modern History, Chemistry, General Mathematics, Advanced English

my advice is to become a Catholic, and apply for UND - Sydney or Perth
