lol, ask any aspiring physicist and they'll tell you that Astrophysics has ground to a halt... whereas Partical Physics is the way of the future.
asking whether astro or quanta is a "funner" topic to do is like asking whether building a computer the size of a room with valves or building a computer the size of a molecule (ie. nanotech.) is more profittable... hehe...
