Tony? Crap no, he's a crazy ass Catholic.

If anything, Costello's got the experience needed. Nelson's the fall guy, and Turnball will stay in state politics for a while, I think.

Hmm some solid debate... but i think peter costello is not punching for the Australian poeple, i think hes punching for he's on own self interest. I mean the guy is leaker, he avoids party room votes, he's a little sneaky bastard. 20 years and treasury, i mean the guy GST'ed us so the government can pay off there debt. They really shifted the debt on to the people though. Who is our politicians really working for, for us or some corporations, they all wana go bloody UN these days.:D

GST > WST. Hands down.
I don't think I could ever be left-wing because even though I'm a "bleeding heart socialist", I can't help but use logic and judge governmental policy independently of what party it came from.

I.e. fuck off refugees who can't assimilate, GST is a good companion to direct tax, and sorry, but universal workfare (Australia style, not fucked up US style) is actually better than universal welfare because it encourages upskilling whilst maintaining an inalienable safety net.

Damn my lack of absolutism! How am I to be politically categorised if I never blindly judge a policy based on an ideal scenario divorced from current reality?

P.S. yeah fuck off you absolutist libertarian and conservative cunts, too; don't for a second think I respect you.

I vote Mamdouh Habib lead the Liberal party, with his family members filling in the various cabinet positions.

what with the Cato Institute of course!

why think for yourself when the absolutism of the individual can be swayed by silly situational outside forces? let a certified objective scientific body do the thinking for you!

all dissenters persecuted as unamerican or your money back

That's a good question... it seems like the Liberal party have runout of leaders.
I met Tony Abbott during the WYD and we took photos with him but I don't think he would be the Right choice.
Don't Liberal Party have any more leaders... what would happen to this party in 4 yrs time.
May be the party need new recruits...
