Why are Australian universities ranked so high for nursing? (1 Viewer)

Just wanna ask, is it because that the Australian government cares about medicare a lot so the government is trying to push this area as much as possible and this influenced the universities?

Ranking is usually based on stuff like research output or impact carried out in the university. Pretty sure than many other countries have nursing as a vocational qualification (e.g TAFE which does not publish academic research) rather than a degree, so Australian nursing degrees get a leg up as they’re all university based
