Why Does Australia TV Make Crap?

For starters US shows have budgets of 5 million an episode whereas Australian shows have about 500K to use. Also for every great American show there are about 9 that never see the light of day out here.

it is true much of our tv is crap. But then again, so is america's. It's just that they can make theirs all nice and glossy so the shittiness is not as glaringly obvious.

man, they have mad shows in america. they have more channels with more good stuff....all we have is these stupid 5 channels which premiere good crap for max an hour a day....geez and some of that stuff is crap or repeats too... finally everybody loves raymond is back!!
