will the year 11 course be in the 2012 HSC????????

Do I have to revise year 11 stuff again or can I just concentrate on the year 12 textbooks

For General Math 30% of the HSC exam can be based on Year 11 content but I *THINK* (not certain) that this is the only course that does this.

if youre doing engineering studies then most of the stuff you learn in year 11 leads on to what you learn in year 12

A lot of the content would just be assumed knowledge, stuff that you should know by nature of having completed the Year 11 course. But in most cases, you won't be explicitly tested on Year 11 concepts, you may just need to have an understanding.

Yep, exception with Maths though, and I would say you might even get some random 1 or 2 multiple choice questions from preliminary in the sciences...

The skills that you've picked up during Year 11 coursework is the main thing that you will take out of the year and apply to Yr 12.

Eg In English essay development, analysing texts, for history evaluation of sources etc..

The year 11 course was the basis to the HSC course. The only subject which I found that there was year 11 work was maths and english. The others had the basis work but went into more depth about certain aspects so i guess there is kind of year 11 work. But it will not ask you specifically a preliminary question in the HSC.
