does anybody know of a working DS emulator?

seems to work...telling me my onl extracted rom is faulty though! I'll try extracting another rom and see if this works

can't get it to run any of my roms anyway! it says the cartridge is faulty on all of them!...where did you download ur roms from?

iirc emulators aren't, only the roms are.

i used DeSmuME - Nintendo DS Emulator to play the final fantasy games that are on ds

roms are legal if you own the game (which really kinda defies the point tho you do get extra save files)...pretty sure you can have them for 24 hour if you don't have the game

I'm p sure that is a common misunderstanding and they are infact totally illegal whether you own the actual game or not.

Though I don't know for sure, I always thought what pman said, but then other places say different.

Change your NDS Backup Cartrige Media under emulator options to Flash 256K.

ROM's are my back ups.

To make a playable backup you have to change the code to crack the security checks, and that would break the EULA. So even if the actualy idea of backing up was fine, it's not practical for DS games.
