use the method of shells to find the volume of this "shiny" metal teapot.
what is there to indicate it is shiny?

that Teapot was probably one of the easiest questions (well with sufficient explanation) in that paper.

The subtle focus on domestic topics is somewhat amusing. I was suprised by the weighting they gave to Q8 a) which, while not easy conceptually, only consists of two applications of the sum of an arithmetic series. This paper reminded me of one from sydney boys, check out this Q8, it's quite funny:

Question 3a); drawing the derivative looks shitty the graph of f(x) looks like it has many inflexions and whatnot :p I still don't know how to do that stuff... haha.

Question 4b); 'with aid of a sketch and <u>careful</u> integration'.

You've got to admit it looks rather pretty... Im a fan of SGS 2001 question 8 ... so elegant in that u use all parts together like a big happy family...
