Hello!
Going into the long holidays, I would like to find ways to improve my grades as I've fallen quite short going from 90's in term 1 and 2 in math and English to low 70's for the same 2 subjects, even though it feels like I haven't done anything differently.

The subjects I have chosen for next year is Ext 1 Math and English, Physics, Chem, Engineering studies, and Investigating science.

Does anyone have any strategies I could follow to bolster my skills for next year? My teacher just said for math to work through the textbooks and revise the chapter reviews but, since we are using Maths in Focus (Or New Century Maths) I feel as if the questions aren't all that much difficult at all, which I feel like don't really prepare me that well.

Any and all help is appreciated. Thank you!

maybe for math use the Cambridge textbook or past questions from papers or online. But def take the time to rest cause it's the last summer hols you'll get to fully relax
I heard good things about cambridge, is it really that much better? What should I do for English study? Also thank you very much, I will try to relax but it'll be so hard finding time when school goes back to study.

cambridge does have really challenging questions but it does get to a point where it can be a bit unnecessary to do some questions, like the enrichment questions. doing just development and foundation questions is okay.
i found that the maths in focus books tend to do mostly what the foundation questions of cambridge do (which is the 'easiest' level of questions in cambridge) but that's not to say they're terrible. they're still a good resource and honestly the way they teach the theory is a lot more digestible and straightforward than cambridge.
also keep in mind maybe account for how hard your school makes papers. for adv math im ok using just maths in focus because most of our exams are pretty textbook-style but for ext 1 i needed to use cambridge to get used to the terribly difficult questions my teacher loves putting in papers

my year 10 self did not know what I was getting myself into. Like year 10 was peak and then year 11 I was thrown at the deep end and I was really struggling with everything. But that's just my personal experience. If my year 10 self saw the grades I was getting I would have crash out and dropped out. But my outside of school life is thriving and my I grew a lot from this experience so it was worth it

When studying in the cambridge, for hard questions it would be the enrichment and the chapter reviews right? or just enrichment. Other than what the other person said earlier, are there any more strategies to tackle English?

chapter reviews tend to be easy and pretty surface level so if you want hard questions, go for enrichment.
for english honestly it’s just constant practice practice practice. try and remember individual points + corresponding evidence as opposed to remembering entire essays if you’re the kind of person who struggles with answering the question.
