Know that feel. We got ours late as well. Added to the fact that the school screwed up the design - they left the running writing on the arms, but then they put modern block lettering on the back. It looked a bit ridiculous. I still love it though. Our school screwed up so much in regards to Year 12 Jerseys.
With my school being a private school they decided to change the colour scheme of the school and the school crest for 2013 onwards. Unfortunately the students organising the jerseys weren't notified about these changes until the middle of Term 1. (mainly issues regarding colour scheme and colours that we can and can't use). We only got to choose our nicknames by the end of Term 1 and the jerseys have been ordered during this week.
We were also told that the earliest the jerseys could arrive was the beginning of Term 3. Leaving us with about 10 weeks to wear them in. Lovely.
lame asI just had my last name on mine - we werent given a choice though, but even if we were, I still would have had my last name.
My jersey design was kinda screwed in the fact that we got a white stripe coming down at the back which covered the white font of our jersey name so it you had a "l" at that area you prob couldn't see it but at least we got the dragon emblem on the arm which was alright.Know that feel. Mine was a pun on my name as well Back then I used to like coming up with puns (if I could think of any) for people's jersey's namesMine was a well known pun on my initials
