yeah I'm starting year 12 next week and software is the hardest subject for me so far( I'm doing phys,bio,advanced maths,adv English). just any tips for sdd in year 12, like what should be focused more on, regrets from past students

When you do standard algorithms particularly the sorting ones and the other hard ones (processing files or something), try to understand how they work and don't try to just remember them

Practice algorithm questions, its one of the few parts that can't be rote learned.

Its also what causes some people to find SDD difficult - some people just get it straight away, others don't.

yeah I understand them pretty well, but the questions like ebnf screw me over and stuff. And do you know the band 6 cutoff for software

The band 6 cutoff for every subject is 90.
