What nonsense. Villa is 4th, 3 points from the top of the league, after 22 games in the season, and you call that luck. And you say they can't play football, utter garbage. Did you watch the game at Villa Park against Arsenal? They outplayed Arsenal for long periods in the game, and ultimately earned a deserved draw in the end.

If Villa is to be considered as lucky, then so should Liverpool. You're lucky to be sitting in 2nd place. You're lucky that you didn't get beat at Arsenal. Once your luck runs out you'll fade away into 4th.

lucky isn't the correct word. watching villa's last few games, it seems as if they have lost momentum and seemed to have slowed. they were fortunate against sunderland in that agbonlahor was fouled outside the box before tumbling in and milner's goal was suspect to say the least.

they've only used something like 18 players this season and with young out for 3 games and carew still on the treatment table, we'll get a true indication of how they'll cope with their small squad.

As some Hammers fans have noted, its the best bit of business they have done in years.

Bellamy is wholly reliant on pace and at 30 he isn't going to get any quicker. A less talented, Welsh Michael Owen.

Man utd score a very expected win but 4-2 is a suprise score since the break united's clean sheet streak of 10 games. Man utd will win carling cup unless there is another comical suprise in store for the finals
Our 10 consecutive clean sheets is for league games.

My fucking god, that game was brutal. We've lost Nani, Anderson and Rafael, and probably Evans too. To compound things, Neville and Giggs also suffered knocks. This is fucking ridiculous, with a kunt like Savage in their sides I guess you can't really expect any worse. And the ref is fucking ridiculous too, gave a penalty to them for nothing. There was an incident in the second half when Welbeck was clearly fouled and yet the lets play go on. What a bunch of arseholes.

Here's a fact for you Rafa, other teams do get penalties at OT, dodgy ones too, and if you remember correctly Portsmouth also won a penalty that knocked us out of last year's FA Cup. So Mr Benitez, fuck you.

and this outburst was based on...?
What he said about opposition teams never getting decisions their way at Old Trafford, or never getting penalties, and he based these on "facts".

Sorry but Benitez deserves everything he's getting right now. Liverpool are suffering because of his idiotic outburst too.

Alex does complain alot though. I think Rafa is just trying to catch up ;)
every coach complains. it takes the pressure of your players and gives the media something to reflect.

rafa just didnt do it the right way.

Do what mourinho did at chelsea: be the villan andthe arrogant guy and pull some fancy managerial rivalries and u will remove all media attention from the players or belike avram grant his lack of talk brought him media attention thus taking pressure off chelsea.

Liverpool had 2 games massive derbies against everton and a massive game against chelsea and united have won their 2 catch up games, so its not really a surprise that hes taking a bit of heat for the team.

The one man Mourinho never picked a fight with was Fergie though. Treated him like a hot chick really - tried to ply him with alcohol to compensate for a lack of something.
Hahahhhahahaha thats soo freakin true
After the man utd v Chelsea games he always talked abt expensive wine with fergie LOL

Mourinho was good enough to win the league without any mind games, and was smart enough to know that it's difficult to beat Sir Alex at what he does best.

Not really. Benitez came out before the United vs Chelsea game, trying to heap the pressure up for both the teams. It was deemed a game that either team could afford to lose, but it had the adverse effect and Liverpool have suffered as a result. He wasn't really trying to take the pressure off his own team, but instead tried to add more pressure on us.

Srsly dont c liverpool survivin on the top 2 for long Chelsea and Aston Villa are hot on their heals. Man utd may as well stretch the lead on liverpool when they face Chelsea in like 2 weeks.

Its gonna b probably a draw but if the teams recover from their mid season slump it can be the most interesting game btn them ever<coz they are usually caggy strategic matches>
If man utd stuff up i c either chelsea or aston villa spoiling the top two party

I still think Villa will slip up and Arsenal will retain a Champions League spot.
