:S All sciences carry skills all the way from 7th grade, so I guess there are some basic skills revised that continue over.

Precisely why I think that all these hard out kids who studied all holidays are going to wish they hadn't.

Then again, I'm sure that there are some concepts of Preliminary Physics that you would need for HSC Physics.
Seems I was mistaken there. Damn that Excel Book! It said that some Preliminary concepts would be tested in HSC.

It's too hot to do anything but kick back and relax, I refuse to leave the house in 40 degree weather.

good luck to all those people who have spent their summer holidays learning whole syllabuses and topics, you have more discipline than me. this is only year 11 (except for those accelerated), so don't we just find out how to study effectively and suss out what works for 2010?

I didn't study in the Year 10/11 Summer Holidays - and I don't think you need to. My advice - enjoy Year 11 while you still can. Study - but in moderation. Don't want to burn yourself out before you get to Year 12.
