i was talking to a mate that got a high band 6 in geography and his word of advice to me was "don't waste your time writing notes, instead prepare 3 different essays for each module covering all the dot points including your case studies"

so for ecosystems at risk the 3 essays would be:
1. biophysical interactions
2. vulnerability and management of ecosystems
3. traditional and contemporary management strategies

what you guys reckon?

sounds ok, but i like having thre security of having my notes as well, cause i cannot remember essays, and i know people that have done that as well and they lucked out cause the questions that they practiced/made u[p had nothing to do with the actually question, so i would go making ht notes + lots of practices essays, cause remember that are 3 focus areas EAR, Urban Places, People and Economic activity which would be a lot of essays to remember and such.

yeh, i think he is right.
but writing notes will help you as well.

im writing notes on ecosystems at risk now. its so time consuming as there is so much content and im wondering if its actually worth it

like i said from above thread, i agree with focusing on essay.
but writing note is also good.
i know there are so much details there, but just pick important things
which you need to know.

well geo is easy. the 3 essays... must include:
intro, body with illustration aka examples and a sum up of the question..
well if u need geo notes i can help just msn me... atm im playing games...
