It actually only took me 15 minutes to get from Railway Square to the Quad, with moderately-paced walking.

Redfern is extremely safe in the day. There is a steady stream of people going from uni to the station at all times. Unless you're catching an off peak East Hills train and have to go to Central, Redfern is a far better station to use.

yeah, it's definitely a walkable distance. but it's still longer than going from redfern, and it's not as nice a walk because of all the traffic on broadway.

Broadway shopping centre offers all day parking for Students for $10 Mon-Fri.
It's like a 1-2min walk from the Uni.
