Gold Coast should go alright.
Can't stop laughing at SFC declaring title intent for 09/10

Re: The Official A-League Thread.

Sydney can keep on dreaming, as can Gold Coast with their statement of "we'll go unbeaten in our first season"

Re: The Official A-League Thread.

they won't go unbeaten, but they have a good manager in Bleiberg and a solid squad.

Kosmina getting the boot is the best thing that's happened to Sydney. Thank goodness for that. They never should've sacked Culina.

LoL, they're mentioning Keano's name to take over, what a coup that'll be.

hahaahah

the first thing sfc needs is stability.
the positions of chairman/manager at sfc are nothing but rotating doors.

and you can not honestly beleive roy keane would take over.

on a side note has anyone been watch Rexona's Australia's Greatest Athelete? I gotta say, even though he's a nice guy and all but Joel Griffiths is doing shit in this comp, he's not representing his code very well... And this is coming from me, who usually defends him.

He's not a nice guy. He's a faggot.
He will never be australia's greatest athlete if there is no punching linesmans nutsack event.

Um yeah, they play Queensland at Suncorp in the return leg.

They need to win 3-0 I think to progress through. Definately underdogs hey.

But.....making the finals is a much better accomplishment in comparison to winning the spoon for the season. Meh.

This.

He has actually signed with Shanghai Shensuen, if you didn't already know. As well as Mark Milligan.

Re: The Official A-League Thread.

He signed with Beijing Guoan, not Shanghai, it's that same team that his younger brother Ryan plays for. and it's only on a loan deal, not a permanent contract.

And don't say someone is a faggot when you don't even know the person.

Re: The Official A-League Thread.

I wasn't referring to you in the previous post.
Fair enough.

Quoting the applicable user would be handy.

Any news on whether Sasha is moving up the F3? I heard Topor-Stanley has signed an agreement with the Jets, but it's got a get-out clause if he gets and offer from England.

Who else have the Jets got in sights? Marque?

Re: The Official A-League Thread.

As far as I know he is heading up the F3 once the Mariners have finished their finals campaign.
The Jets have also signed striker Donny de Groot from the Netherlands, Ljubo Milicevic (former Melbourne Victory defender) and Italian forward Fabio Vignaroli, and I believe that Stuart Musialik wants out of Sydney to return to the Jets. And we have Branko Culina joining the team as Technical director.

rofl, who are you to tell me who I can call a faggot?

I can call him a faggot whenever I feel like it. I don't need to know him as a person. Based on his actions (such as punching a linesman in the nutsack, grabbing opponents by the neck, etc) I think it is warranted. You have your opinion, I have mine.

Sasha Petrovski has gone from Newcastle then on to China.
And I hope you enjoy Milicevic.

To be perfectly honest, it will take a miracle for the Jets to progress out of the group stages in the ACL.
